IT Priority System

The IT Services priority system is divided into four categories with category 1 being the highest and 4 the lowest. Within these four categories there are sublevels of priorities.

1. Failures – Mission Critical Components

  • Servers
  • Teaching Consoles

2. Failures – Workstations/Work Stoppage

  • Faculty
  • Staff
  • Equipment Controllers
  • Student workers

3. New Installs

  • Servers
  • Workstations
  • Faculty
  • Staff
  • Students  (Must be requested by faculty member)

4. Enhancements and updates

  • Servers
  • Workstations
  • Faculty
  • Staff
  • Students  (Must be requested by faculty member)
