The TA Instruments Modulated Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) is equipped with a refrigerated cooling unit and an autosampler, and is capable of both conventional and modulated characterization modes up to 600°C. The DSC is used to characterize material glass transition temperature (TG), crystallization temperatures (TC) and melting point (TM). It is especially useful in characterizing materials with multiple crystalline phases.
