Advertising Your Talk
At least two weeks before your talk, please provide the details of your presentation using our online ECE Seminar form.
Travel and Accommodations
The ECE Department provides travel services for its guest speakers and will fund standard airfare, two nights of lodging, and a $45 per diem.  To initiate your travel to Boise, complete our guest travel form as soon as you are able.
Presentation Details
Seminar is held in a theatre-style room which holds just over 100 people.
The speakers’ console includes a desktop PC and ceiling mount projection.  You may wish to bring a pointer or other presentation aids.
You are welcome to bring your laptop for the presentation. Â Please bring any adapters you may need to connect to a standard VGA port.
Your presentation should be approximately 45 minutes in length, with 15 minutes reserved for questions and answers.
Seminar is open to the public and your audience will be diverse in terms of level of knowledge and engineering expertise.
Directions & Parking Info
Navigating from the Airport
Proceed north/northeast from the airport terminal onto S. Vista Avenue.
Just a few hundred yards passed the terminal, turn right (east) to merge onto interstate 84 East.
Follow the interstate for 0.8 miles.
Take exit 54 for Broadway Avenue heading north/northeast.
Follow Broadway approximately 2.5 miles and turn left (west) at University Drive.
Proceed west on University Drive approximately 0.25 miles and turn left (north) on Euclid Avenue.
Turn right (west) immediately, turning into the parking lot at 1375 University Drive.
Where to Park
Parking is available in the paved lot adjacent to the Engineering and Technology Building located at 1375 University Drive in Boise.  You can either choose metered parking or request a parking pass from your host.
Finding the Department Office
The Department office can be found inside the Engineering and Technology building, room 240.
Our physical address is 1375 University Drive.
The building is situated between Euclid Avenue and Manitou Avenue, just southwest of the Stadium.
Enter the building using the main (north) doors facing University Drive.
The elevator is located on the eastern side of the main lobby; take it to the second floor.
Our office is on the second floor in the northwest corner of the building, to your right from the elevator or stairs.
