Omid Yaghmazadeh Profile

Omid Yaghmazadeh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boise State University. Dr. Yaghmazadeh leads the Translational NeuroTechnology laboratory where research is focused on the interaction of electromagnetic waves with the brain and how such interactions can be used for therapeutic purposes.

Prior to Boise State University, Yaghmazadeh worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Buzsáki lab at the Neuroscience Institute at New York University. While there, he worked on the development of an innovative non-invasive neuromodulation method based on radio frequency energy waves.

He obtained his PhD in Organic Electronics from Ecole Polytechnique, France.
