About Shane Panter
Bio
Shane Panter spent 10+ years in industry before joining the Computer Science department at Boise State University as a Clinical Assistant Professor. Prior to joining Boise State University he worked in the manufacturing industry at several companies supporting and developing large scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Systems. Additionally, he spent time at Hewlett Packard working on Firmware in both kernel and user space to manage the energy star components of their enterprise laserjet printers. His research interests are in systems, software engineering, and cybersecurity in both user space and kernel space.
