Research conducted by Boise State University BS in Computer Science Graduate and current MS in Computer Science student Adam Torek, and graduated BS in Computer Science students Natalie Hahle and Elijah Sorensen has been published in IEEE Xplore and is accessible at IEEE Xplore: A Systematic Evaluation of Code-generating Chatbots for Use in Undergraduate Computer Science Education. Their paper focuses on the development and evaluation of coding Large Language Models (LLMs). This publication follows the presentation of this research last year at the IEEE Frontiers in Education conference in Washington D.C., as previously shared in this feature post.Â
