Dr. Amit Jain and Lecturers Marissa Schmidt and Mason Vail were highlighted in the Boise State Update for their project to incorporate Team-Based Learning (TBL) techniques into CS121 in hopes of increasing student retention. In the spring 2015 semester, the pass rate in CS121 TBL sections was 89 percent compared with 80 percent in non-TBL sections.
