Jay Larsen, President and Founder of the Idaho Technology Council (ITC), left the City Center Plaza groundbreaking yesterday with excitement for Boise’s tech future. In a piece posted on the ITC website, Larsen indicates that this decision is impactful for a couple reasons. First, it shows Boise State University’s commitment to our local industry (specifically the software tech industry) and secondly, it moves the tech community closer together which will bring the many benefits of convergence.
“When tech companies are close together, things just seem to happen, and we are thrilled that Gardner Company and Clearwater Analytics have decided to create this focal point right in the heart of Boise.
We are thrilled to be a part of what we consider an unstoppable transition of our state to a national high-tech hot spot—with the new Clearwater Building and the Gardner Company’s commitment as the crown jewels.”
Boise State’s Department of Computer Science is thrilled to be part of this project and excited for the many opportunities it will bring.
