The 2012 Boise Code Camp will be held on Saturday, March 24th at Boise State Student Union Building. Registration begins at 8 am, keynote at 9 am, sessions begin at 9:45 am. Boise’s Code Camp is among the largest gathering of software and technology professionals in the inland northwest, attracting around 400 participants from Idaho and nearby states. The event is organized by technology community volunteers and hosted every year on the Boise State University campus by the Department of Computer Science in the College of Engineering.

It aims to bring topics and training in cutting-edge software and information technology to the participants. There are approximately 55 presenters this year on topics ranging from Big Data to mobile apps.

Code Camps are free to attend with sponsors underwriting the costs. The event is sponsored by Boise State University, Acquity Group, Bodybuilding.com, Clearwater Analytics, Healthwise, Infragistics, MetaGeek, Mobile Data Force, Keynetics, Microsoft and several other software companies as well as individuals. Sponsors use Code Camps to recruit talent and keep their name and products before the technology community.
