Fabrication and Equipment

The fabrication process varies from project to project. But listed below are the main tools that we use to fabricate ceramic prototypes.

M300 laser
M300 laser to cut out layers of LTCC.
8 ton lamination press
8 ton lamination press to press LTCC layers together.
Screen Printer
Screen Printer used to deposit layers of silver paste which have electrical properties and allows us to create embedded electrical circuits.
CNC mill
This CNC mill allows us to drill clean holes and route clean lines in our LTCC devices.
furnace
This furnace allows us to fire the LTCC at 860 degrees Fahrenheit.
furnace uses an inert gas
This furnace uses an inert gas and pressure instead of heat coils to fire LTCC placed inside.
