BIO

Mr. McKibben earned his B.S. in Chemistry from Northwest Nazarene University in 2015. He spent one and a half years studying organometallic chemistry at Texas Tech University before joining Boise State University. He is in the 5th year of his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering under the tutelage of Dave Estrada and co-advised by Zhangxian Deng, where he studies additive manufacturing, sensor development, and microelectronics. His research interests include novel ink development for direct writing processes, aerosol jet printing, piezoelectric and magnetostrictive material systems, MicroElectroMechanical systems (MEMs), and Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices.
