About Tony Valayil Varghese

BIO

Dr. Varghese is a research scientist in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and the Micron School of Materials Science and Engineering at Boise State University. Tony completed Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering from Boise State University in Prof. David Estrada’s group 2019. He received his B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University in India, 2010 and M.S in Nanoscience and Technology from National Institute of Technology in India, 2012. Tony’s research focuses on additive manufacturing of 2D nanomaterials with emphasis on flexible thermoelectric devices for energy harvesting applications. Prior to coming Boise State, he worked on “polymer and rubber nanocomposites for satellite applications” at Indian Space Research Organization as a project research student.
