Samuel Pedersen and Florent Muramutsa tag-teamed a recent MSMSE Seminar series highlighting recent results from the collaboration between the Advanced Materials Laboratory (Dr. Brian Jaques), the Advanced Nanomaterials and Manufacturing Laboratory (Dr. David Estrada), and Iris Light Technologies, a startup company focused on integrated silicon photonics that was spun out of Argonne National Laboratory. Samuel Pedersen presented his work on conversion kinetics of black phosphorus (BP) and highlighted recent results for mechanically synthesizing phosphorus-arsenic alloys. Florent presented his work on aerosol jet printed BP and the optimization of stable inks needed for device fabrication and testing. The virtual seminar was presented February 5th, 2021.
