AML graduate student Kaelee Novich is making waves with her work in nuclear policy and outreach.
Kaelee was recently highlighted by Boise State University for her dedication and enthusiasm for nuclear energy. Kaelee shares her path to nuclear, discusses her current work with the National Nuclear Security Administration and emphasizes the effect young engineers can have on the world’s energy landscape.
Kaelee also won the CAES Student of the Year Award for student leadership around nuclear energy on campus. As president of BSU’s Nuclear Energy Club, Kaelee led the club to become an official American Nuclear Society student section. She also organized the Future Net-Zero Innovators Symposium, a conference for students around the Mountain West to showcase their work in sustainability and carbon emissions reduction.
