We’re spending the last days of 2022 celebrating our best research accomplishments of the year! Undergraduate researcher Kyle Holloway shares his accomplishment below:
“This year I prepared 180 samples for materials characterization for the Transformational Challenge Reactor program. The samples are additively manufactured stainless steel 316L. So far we have characterized the samples through Archimedes density and optical microscopy and we’ve begun microhardness and elemental analysis.”
