Timothy Phero recognized as CAES Student of the Year

AML graduate student Timothy Phero was awarded the Center for Advanced Energy Studies (CAES) Student of the Year Award.

The nomination for this award states, “Tim is a very dedicated research who is very collaborative and thorough. He does a great job of mentoring his peers, including undergraduates, while continuously working to better himself in all aspects of research and education. He has been awarded an INL graduate fellowship due to his work on the ASI program with INL and will start in Idaho Falls in the spring. In addition, Tim regularly volunteers his time at places like the Reuseum, hiking trail systems cleanup and maintenance. He is a founding member of the Nuclear Energy Club at Boise State, and even started the plastic recycling effort in the Micron Center for Materials Research.”
