Come hear Tom Beckwith, former worldwide VP of services sales at Amazon.com, tell about his career and lessons learned. Find out how Amazon.com went from a book store to the place to find, discover and buy almost anything on the internet, during the darkest days of the .com meltdown.

A bit about Tom’s background:

Tom Beckwith brings over thirty years experience building, scaling and managing sales teams focused on delivering results and building durable customer relationships. He has held executive positions at a number of leading technology companies. As worldwide vice president of services sales at Amazon.com. His team recruited over 500,000 third party merchants who generated over three billion dollars in revenue for Amazon. At Exodus Communications his organization delivered over a third of the company’s billion dollars in revenue. Other companies include: Netscape Communications, Silicon Graphics, Digital Equipment and AT&T Information Systems.

Tom is a product of the Boise public school system and the University of Idaho. Tom and his wife Jody spend time at homes in Ketchum, Idaho, the Wood River Valley and Fidalgo Island, north of Seattle.
