COBE marketing students collaborated with Bogus Basin marketing team to answer the question, “How do we get more students on the mountain?” A number of ideas were generated in spring 2016 through a semester-long service-learning project in Leslie Koppenhafer’s marketing 301 and 407 classes.
“We’re actually implementing some of the ideas that came out of the projects,” said John Hart, marketing director for Bogus Basin. “These students can look and say ‘that was us, we did that.'”
One of the ideas adopted is the Social Season Pass Deal. This primary idea came from a team of Adam Ramsey, Shawn Cutting, Joe Egbert and Jordan Homan. Adam graduates this fall and the other three graduated in spring 2016.  The deal is: get five students together and each student can purchase a season pass for just $149.
Sage Ceniga, a senior marketing major, spoke with KTVB Channel 7 news about the collaboration experience with Bogus Basin.
