The Idaho Small Business Development Center (SBDC), housed in the College of Business and Economics, has undergone a re-brand, bringing two accelerators under the management of the main office.
The SBDC merged two previously separated regions and took on the management and programming for two business accelerators, located in downtown Boise and Nampa. The restructure means both accelerators are under the same administration and management as the main SBDC office located in the Micron Business and Economics building.
The 38,000-square-foot building formerly known as the TECenter in Nampa will be known as the SBDC Business Accelerator – Nampa, and the 2,000-square-foot building formerly known as the Green House in downtown Boise, which is generously hosted by the City of Boise, will be known as the SBDC Business Accelerator – Boise.
The SBDC also has taken a fresh look at the programs being offered through the accelerators as well as throughout the region. Programs once exclusive to accelerator clients are now available to clients not in residence, and the SBDC’s traditional trainings are now much more integrated into the accelerators.
