Enhance Your Teaching Curriculum
Faculty Information
Are you considering incorporating research participation as an activity for your course(s)? By participating in research studies, students can learn about and actively contribute to the creation of new discoveries. We provide a seamless system for tracking and rewarding student participation, enriching the educational experience and supporting your teaching objectives.
Integrating SONA studies into your class is straightforward. We’ve simplified the process for faculty by requiring only the inclusion of a provided statement in your syllabus and the uploading of final points at the end of the semester. We handle the rest to ensure ease of implementation.
For students who are unable or prefer not to participate in surveys, an alternative is available. They can write a 2-page critique of a research article, with each critique worth 2 SONA credits. Students should email us to receive their assigned articles for critique.
To minimize the volume of student inquiries you might receive, we encourage you to forward any SONA-related questions to us. We are committed to providing prompt responses. To further reduce confusion and clarify the participation process, we will collaborate with you to schedule a brief presentation at the beginning of the semester.
If you are interested in offering credit but would like more information, please fill out our Instructor Interest in COBE Subject Pool
form composed of questions to help us know how we can better meet your needs.
