A wide range of potential projects are welcomed. The goal is to help businesses with tangible procedures, documents, research, reports, or other deliverables that use high-level business knowledge, skills and critical thinking. Previous projects have included development of standard operating procedures, marketing plans, financial/accounting audits, product launches and re-brands.

  • Timeline: Spring semesters, approx. 14 week project; client list is finalized in November. Teams are established in early December, which allows time to secure any NDAs, security clearance, and special access into the organization, as needed.
  • Format: One team of 4-5 students works individually with one company. Teams are expected to work about 20 hours per week.
  • Commitment: 1-2 representatives from your organization will be asked to scope the project and provide resources / access to successfully complete the project. These representatives should be available for team check-ins weekly or biweekly to answer questions and provide feedback as needed. After final presentations, clients are asked to evaluate their team on the effectiveness of their work.

The Career Track MBA program requires a summer for-credit, paid internship. Students typically work full time, a minimum of 135 hours over 2-3 months. This is an opportunity to help students connect in-class learning with on-the-job experience. Many interns stay on to work part-time through their program or are hired post-graduation.
