Michael Jones serves as the President of SEEDIdaho and is a registered Mechanical Engineer in Idaho and California. SEED, an acronym for Sustainable Environment Engineered Design, is a mechanical engineering firm at its core. The business offers sustainable building HVAC and plumbing design, building commissioning and energy modeling for clients in Idaho and California. Mr. Jones started his career in the energy efficiency industry 10 years ago testing new energy efficient technologies for the largest electric utility in the United States. As a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), a Commissioning Process Management Professional (CPMP) and a LEED AP, he exercises a thorough and practical knowledge of the energy and green building industries. He has participated in multiple LEED based projects both domestically and internationally and played an active role in the first LEED pre-certified building project in Amman, Jordan.
