Environmental and Natural Resource Economics Roundtable with Scott Lowe

Join us for the first in the series of this semester’s roundtables.

Dr Lowe is the Director of the Environmental Studies Program at the College of Social Sciences & Public Affairs and Associate Professor at the Department of Economics at the College of Business and Economics.

His primary research interests relate to the influence of regulations on regional and local environmental and socioeconomic conditions. He has published articles and given presentations on the influence of the Clean Air Act on ambient particulate matter and ozone concentrations, on the political economy of the South Coast Air Quality Management District’s RECLAIM program, and on the role of inclusionary zoning practices on housing growth in California. His current research addresses historical water use in the western United States.
