HRM410 People Analytics
This class is an introduction to people analytics, also known as workforce analytics or HR analytics. You will learn how to interpret and analyze people data using evidence-based HRM practices and analytical techniques that help solve challenges. With a hands-on approach, you will learn to apply human capital measurement and metrics, predictive analytic tools and methods, and other frequently used metrics to collect and analyze people data.
HRM410:
- is included in the HR Major (FA23 catalog ) and Business Analytics Certificate (FA24 catalog).
- can be used as an elective.
Major
The major provides a solid foundation for those interested in the human resource management function of a business related to strategic management, workforce planning, human resource development, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations, and risk management. Idaho LAUNCH
The Human Resource Management BBA program qualifies for Idaho LAUNCH. Idaho LAUNCH by Next Steps Idaho, is an education and training grant program that provides Idaho students a one-time scholarship for 80% of the tuition and fees for select in-demand career programs – up to a maximum amount of $8,000.
Minor
The minor includes 18 credits of upper division Human Resource, Management, and other COBE upper division courses.

Human Resource Association (HRA) is a student organization focused on the HR field with opportunities for mentoring, networking and experience. We are Merit Award winners through the National Society for HR Management (SHRM). Learn more about HRA.
