Mahesh Boodraj is an assistant professor of information technology management at the College of Business and Economics at Boise State University. His research focuses on cybersecurity, IT project management, and software development. He has published several peer-reviewed articles in various outlets, including the Journal of the Association for Information Systems and the Data Base for Advances in Information Systems. He also has extensive experience teaching at the undergraduate, master, and executive levels. He is a Senior Member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and a Distinguished Member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS). He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Project Management Professional (PMP). Before joining academia, he spent twelve years in various managerial and technical roles at the Mona School of Business and Management and IBM.
