Dr. Kyle Allen received a Ph.D. in Finance from Texas Tech University. He has an MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird (Now part of ASU) and a Bachelor of Science degree from Utah Valley University. Kyle enjoys both teaching and research. His classes have included Commercial Bank Management, Financial Markets and Institutions, Financial Statement Analysis, Principles of Finance, and MBA courses. Before joining the faculty at Boise State, he taught at the University of Central Florida, Louisiana Tech University, and Utah Valley University.
His research is focused on money market funds, community banks, and the interaction between regulators, banks, and investors. Dr. Allen has an interest in analyzing the unintended consequences of changes in regulation across all financial markets. His publications are published in academic journals such as The Journal of Financial Stability, Financial Review, and the Journal of Banking Regulation.
