Women in Leadership Scholarship | The EMBA program seeks gender diversity in each cohort by offering this scholarship to one woman each year. This scholarship recognizes a participant’s past leadership achievements and potential impact on her organization. Non-Profit / Government Scholarship | We recognize that some non-profit and government organizations have limited sponsorship / financial support. This scholarship is awarded to one student each year working in a leadership role for a non-profit or governmental organization. Successful candidates are committed to serving the non-profit / government sector and show a desire to impact their community through their leadership. Applicants must have a completed admissions application package (EMBA application form, recommendation forms, official transcripts, resume) submitted by the Priority Application Deadline of May 19, 2025. Small Business Scholarship | We recognize that some smaller organizations have limited sponsorship / financial support. EMBA is happy to support entrepreneurs and small businesses with education that has major impacts. This scholarship is awarded to one student each year working in a leadership role for a small business (typically less than 50 employees) or a self-owned business. Applicants must have a completed admissions application package (EMBA application form, recommendation forms, official transcripts, resume) submitted by the Priority Application Deadline of May 19, 2025. Boise State Employee Scholarship | The Boise State Executive MBA program is not eligible for the Boise State Employee/Spouse tuition and fee waiver. Boise State employees are charged full tuition, like any other participant. However, the university supports professional development and degree attainment for our leaders. Boise State employees are offered $5,000 each calendar year for a total of $15,000 to help make the EMBA program more financially feasible. This scholarship is awarded to one applicant each year. Boise State employees must have a completed admissions application package (EMBA application form, recommendation forms, official transcripts, resume) submitted by the Priority Application Deadline of May 19, 2025. Boise State employees are automatically considered for this award if submitted on time. Terms and conditions of scholarships
- Students must have a completed admissions application (application form, recommendation forms, official transcripts, resume) submitted by the applicable deadline for automatic scholarship consideration.
- Students must remain in good academic standing to remain eligible for scholarships in the second year of the program.
- Scholarship offers are valid for the Executive MBA program only. They are not applicable to any other Boise State MBA program.
- Scholarship selection is competitive. Awards are made at the discretion of the EMBA Scholarship Committee.
- The EMBA Scholarship Committee reserves the right to consider financial need and outside funding/reimbursement as part of the scholarship selection process.
- Selected scholarship recipients will be notified of scholarship awards no later than June 15. Students must have an enrollment deposit submitted within 10 days of scholarship notification or the award will be revoked.
- Scholarships are valid only for the year offered. Students deferring to a later cohort year may retain their admittance decision, but the scholarship will be re-offered to a student starting with the immediate cohort and the applicant will be considered for scholarships with their new cohort.
- The scholarship decisions are based on a holistic review of the completed admissions application and interviews.
