General Admissions FAQs

Are application fee waivers available for applicants?

No. The CTMBA program does not provide any kind of fee waiver for domestic or international applicants.

I have questions about my CTMBA online application. Where to I start?

If you have questions regarding your online application, please start by reviewing the Gradaute College FAQs or contact the Graduate College Office at graduatecollege@boisestate.edu or (208) 426-4723.

International Admissions FAQs

Are application fee waivers available for international applicants?

No. The CTMBA program does not provide any kind of fee waiver for domestic or international applicants.

Does the CTMBA qualify for students looking to study on an international student visa?

Yes. The CTMBA program is the only MBA program Boise State offers that qualifies for those studying on an international student visa. Student visa’s require that international students attend a full-time, in-person program.

What are the steps to apply as an international student?

I have questions about my international transcripts. Who can I talk to?

Good question. Please reach out to Boise State’s International Admissions Office. Their team is very helpful and quick to respond: interntl@boisestate.edu or (208) 426-4367.

Do I need to submit official international transcripts?

Yes. Students that have graduated from an international institution must submit official transcripts to be considered for admission.

Is an English proficiency exam required for international applicants to apply?

Yes. International students must complete the TOEFL exam with a score of 80 or IELTS score of 6.5 or better. They may be asked to provide a statement of adequate funding and certified English translations of transcripts.
