Laura Chiuppi
Director
Laura interacts with employers to identify Bronco talent and enrich Boise’s workforce. She also works with students to help identify their strengths, choose a field that fits their skills/interests, and accomplish their career goals. Laura grew up on the east coast and graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Masters in Administrative Education. When she’s not helping map out futures, Laura can be found running on Boise’s trails with her Labradoodle.

Brandon Armstrong
Career Coordinator
Brandon assists students in identifying career next-steps through individual coaching. He provides the tools and knowledge needed to grow a business focused career. Brandon also assists faculty and staff with incorporating career development into their classroom. He grew up in Idaho and holds a BA in German from Brigham Young University, as well as an MBA from Boise State University. Outside of work, Brandon enjoys cooking, cycling and hiking.

Monique connects students to high-impact career opportunities through one-on-one support, as well as group coaching and class presentations. She co-manages Bronco Corps, an internship funding program, and tracks career outcomes data for COBE Broncos. Monique attended college in Portland, Oregon, earning a BA in Communication. She then completed a Masters of Education Technology and Instructional Design from Boise State University. Outside of our office, you can find Monique adventuring with her husband and dogs.

Program Administrator

Courtney Pedersen
Graduate Assistant
Courtney is a Graduate Assistant with COBE and is a part of the CTMBA program at Boise State. Courtney grew up in Oregon and is an alumnus of Gonzaga University where she graduated with a degree in Public Relations and minored in Business Promotions, Journalism, and Digital Marketing. Outside of work, Courtney can be found hanging out with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, running, and assisting with weddings in the Boise area!

Originally from Washington state, Emma earned her undergraduate degree in English (focusing in Professional and Creative Writing) from Brigham Young University-Idaho. When she’s not working, Emma enjoys reading, writing short stories and poems, rock climbing, and hiking.
