Nicole Holden, a Certified Public Accountant (Arizona), offers a unique combination of academic achievements and professional experience. Holding degrees in Accounting and Biological Sciences (Animal Physiology and Behavior) from Arizona State University, she further expanded her academic pursuits with a year of Zoology study at the University of British Columbia.
Her career spans roles in both tax and audit, including a position at Deloitte NYC. In her various accounting roles, she contributed to initiatives aimed at improving financial processes and cutting costs. As an educator, she is recognized for her engaging teaching style and commitment to student success in Accounting Information Systems.
Her research focuses on Responsible Business Strategy and Sustainability Accounting Framework Integration. She explores how integrating sustainable practices into accounting can lead to significant cost reductions, resource optimization, and more transparent governance structures. She has presented this research at several academic conferences.
