“I worked with Brilynne and she was great! She made me feel very comfortable and I was able to ask her questions that clarified what I needed to be doing. She laid out a Spring Semester plan for me, figured out what I could do for the summer, and gave me a rough estimate of what I needed to graduate on time in 2026 with. Coming in as a transfer student still in need of a decent amount of credits has been daunting, but my advising appointment here made me feel much more confident that I had a plan and it was doable! It was the best advising experience I have had in college so far.”
“When I was struggling with the decision of whether I should take a gap year or drop out of school entirely, I had the privilege of meeting with Megan.
She provided me opportunities, resources, and motivation in order to have a better understanding of my future plans and remind me why I wanted to come to Boise State in the first place.
By the end of the semester and many meetings later, I no longer wanted to take a break from school. Instead, I have big goals and the means to reach them.”

“I had a wonderful meeting with Ms. Nancy Tacke. She was thorough and well-organized, and I felt comfortable accepting advice from her. With every question I had, she answered to the best of her knowledge and directed me to others for more info. She provided helpful tips and links, and I look forward to meeting her again.”

“I met with Sara Rose, and she was absolutely amazing… She explained my next steps and my online resources very clearly and cautioned me on my amount of credits while also make sure to not try and dissuade me in any way, just making sure to check in. It was a great experience!”
