Last year the federal government published the Fifth National Climate Assessment (NCA5), a comprehensive report detailing the current and future risks of climate change. Join Boise State’s Hazard and Climate Resilience Institute and NCA5 authors at this in-person workshop to discuss climate change in the Northwest.
The program will include presentations by authors from the Northwest, Complex Systems, Transportation, and Social Systems and Justice chapters, leadership of the U.S. Global Change Research Program, and regional practitioners. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and discuss climate change topics with the authors and to get support on understanding and implementing the findings and topics of NCA5 within their own spaces.
All interested stakeholders are encouraged to register and attend. Registration is free. Please note this is an in-person event and attendance is capped at 160 due to room limitations.
