Abstract: The integration of technology into indigenous language and cultural heritage education in multi-ethnic societies has steadily gained importance. This talk examines the question: How prepared are Native-Language Teachers in Taiwan to teach in classrooms that are rich in technology? The answer is that Native-Language Teachers in Taiwan are like one-person armies. In this talk, I will examine their preparation and the challenges they face (including cultural border crossing) in classrooms packed with technology.
