The Blue Galleries present the 2023 Annual Student Juried Exhibition and the 2023 Biennial Faculty Exhibition in the Center for Visual Arts Jan. 19 – March 26, 2023. These exhibitions open with a reception from 5 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023.

2023 Annual Student Juried Exhibition

Juror’s awards announced at 6 p.m.

Boise-based curator and arts administrator Stephanie Johnson selected work by 25 Boise State University students for the 2023 Annual Student Juried Exhibition at the Blue Galleries. Each year the gallery offers the opportunity for all enrolled Boise State students, from freshman to graduate level, to enter works for review by an esteemed arts professional. This year’s showcase of emerging artists includes video, audio, sculpture, ceramics, art metals, photography and drawing.

2023 Biennial Faculty Exhibition

The Biennial Faculty Exhibition features new work by twenty-eight nationally and internationally recognized artists teaching in the department of Art, Design, and Visual Studies at Boise State. This biennial showcases the recent creative projects and research by full- and part-time faculty.
