Emerging Writers Showcase and MFA Reading at Storyfort

Join the Boise State Department of Theatre, Film and Creative writing and the Creative Writing MFA Program as they celebrate the literary talent in their ranks with two readings at Storyfort. The Emerging Writers Showcase from 2 – 4 PM on Thursday, March 21, will feature undergraduate fiction, poetry and creative non-fiction. The MFA Reading from 2 – 4 PM on Friday, March 22, will include current MFA students in fiction and poetry. Both events are free and open to the public–no Treefort wristband required.

According to the Storyfort website: “Storyfort is a unique literary and storytelling programming track at Treefort Music Fest. Storyfort is all about great writing and compelling narrative, bringing in top-notch authors, poets, journalists, spoken word artists, memoirists, refugee storytellers, podcasters and much more.”
