Attend Conservation Careers Day

Get connected with and learn more about different types of government work centralized around conservation. This day is designed for students and alumni considering land management, conservation, public lands policy or other environmentally centered careers.

All majors are welcome!

Event Highlights

Employer Panel Presentations

Learn more about what different organizations offer and how to best prepare for an internship or job.

  • Employer Panel Presentation from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. with USDA Farm Production and Conservation, Idaho Department of Agriculture, Payette National Forest, USDA Forest Service and more.
  • Employer Panel Presentation from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. with Idaho Conservation Corps, Idaho Department of Agriculture, Payette National Forest, USDA Forest Service and more.

School of the Environment Programming at Boise State

From 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. Learn more about the newly created School of the Environment, degrees offered, research opportunities and student resources.

Individual Consultations

Spend time with experts in the field! From 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This is your chance to build a connection and start your conservation career. You can bring a resume if you would like, ask any questions you have, or discuss your options and choices.

Consultations must be scheduled in advance by registering on CampusGroups with the Employer’s Individual Consultation event. Meet at the check-in table in front of Bishop Barnwell in the Student Union Building to get connected with your personal consultant.
