Boise Chamber Music Series: "A Little Afternoon Music with the Lincoln Trio"

During this informal, educational event, the Lincoln Trio will share a preview performance of their new composition, Stacy Garrop’s “Repair the World,” commemorating the victims of the 2022 Highland Park July 4^th parade mass shooting.

“Repair the World,” the Jewish concept of tikkun olam, is expressed in six minutes of hypnotic, evocative sonic beauty for piano, violin, and cello. Listen, ask questions, and discuss the context of this remarkable commission, written especially for Chicago’s beloved, award-winning Lincoln Trio: Marta Aznavoorian, Desirée Ruhstrat, and David Cunliffe.
