Saturday, March 2, the Quartetto di Cremona will adjudicate the 19th Annual BCMS Young Artist String Quartet Competitions in the Morrison Center Recital Hall. Three high school and three collegiate string quartets will perform short programs of repertoire from the late 18th century to the late 20th century. Participating schools include Boise High, Timberline High, Centennial High, Boise State University and BYU-Idaho.
Come be inspired by youthful music-making on a high level, with carefully prepared, professional repertoire performed with excitement and enthusiasm. This event, courtesy of the Boise Chamber Music Series and the Department of Music, is free and open to the public.
Convenient hourly public parking for non-Boise State parking permit holders attending Music Department events is available just south of the Morrison Center in the Brady Street Garage for $3.25 per hour. Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted at the kiosk.
