The Institute for Inclusive and Transformative Scholarship is pleased to announce scholarship recipients for the Spring 2025 Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Scholarships. Sixteen students will each receive a $3,000 stipend to conduct research or pursue a creative project, over 12-weeks, under the supervision of a faculty mentor. For faculty, it is an opportunity to work closely with, and mentor an undergraduate student. 

Funding for the scholarships is provided by the Higher Education Research Council of the Idaho State Board of Education, Boise State’s Division of Research and Economic Development and the Institute for Inclusive and Transformative Scholarship.

The awardees for the Spring 2025 scholarships are:

  • Mia Hoetker, English Literature. Faculty research mentor: Jennifer Black
  • Teddy Moore, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. Faculty research mentor: Grady Wright
  • Melissa Pope, Visual Arts. Faculty research mentor: Kate Walker
  • Phaedra Roby, Environmental Studies. Faculty research mentor: Jared Talley
  • Mason Scott, Communication. Faculty research mentor: Linsey Belisle
