Clay and Fire Ceramics Sale - Fall 2022

The Boise State University Ceramics Program’s bi-annual sale runs Thursday – Saturday, Dec. 8-10, 2022, in the Center for Visual Arts Ceramics Studios (free admission).

The Department of Art, Design and Visual Studies ceramics program sale, a tradition every spring and fall for over 40 years, features hundreds of original ceramic pieces, ranging from elegant to exotic, made by Boise State students, faculty and alumni. This sale offers the opportunity to purchase locally made and truly unique gifts, and keep our alumni and community in touch through the alchemic wonders of ceramics!

A portion of the proceeds benefit Boise State’s Visiting Artists in Ceramics program, which brings world-class artists to campus to teach students and the community about contemporary techniques and concepts. Visiting artists from around the country and world perform their magic with clay each semester. The Clay & Fire Sale makes it possible for the public to attend these two-day workshops, which are always free for Boise State students, faculty and staff.
