The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking a commencement speaker and student marshals for the 2025 Spring Commencement Ceremony, scheduled for Saturday, May 10 at 7 p.m. in the ExtraMile Arena.
The college will nominate two students to deliver a five-minute address to their fellow graduates. A university committee will make the final selection, choosing one speaker for the ceremony. The chosen commencement speaker will sit on stage with the other dignitaries and appear in the program with a short biography. The role of Student Commencement Speaker is a prestigious opportunity to share your story, inspire your peers, and represent Boise State with pride.
The College will also select several student marshals, who will bear gonfalons (banners) and lead the other graduates during the ceremony, take part in short video interviews that the university will share, and sit in the reserved spaces in the front row during commencement. This is a unique opportunity to be recognized for your leadership, service and academic dedication.
Applications for both positions are due Thursday, March 13 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time.
