Annual Family Holiday Concert is Friday, Dec. 12

Boise State University presents its annual Family Holiday Concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, in the Morrison Center Main Hall.

Please note the new day for this year’s concert; it has taken place on a Sunday in past years.

The concert is a tradition for music lovers in the Treasure Valley and includes performances by Boise State’s symphony orchestra and choral groups, instrumental jazz ensembles and the percussion ensemble. Also featured are the popular audience sing-along and a special holiday celebration with the Keith Stein Blue Thunder Marching Band.

Highlights include the orchestra performing Vaughan Williams’ “Fantasia on Greensleeves” and Leroy Anderson’s popular medley,  “A Christmas Festival.” KTVB’s Mark Johnson will serve as this year’s master of ceremonies.

Tickets are $10 general, $8 seniors, $2 children and non-Boise State students The ticket prices do not include ticket fees, where applicable. Boise State students, faculty, staff and alumni may receive one free ticket with ID by visiting the Student Union Info Desk or the Morrison Center or Taco Bell Arena box offices.
