What are B2s?
B2s are undergraduate students who assist lab instructors – typically in organic chemistry labs. B2s make sure the lab runs smoothly by supervising the lab if the lab instructor has to step out, answering student questions, assisting students with running samples on an instrument, etc. This is a great way to increase your understanding of the lab, lab safety procedures, and could be a great stepping stone to many other student opportunities in our department (adjunct lab instructor, Chemistry Instructional Assistants, etc.).
