About Me
I went to college because there was so much more to learn after high school. During college I realized that chemistry was the most exciting and interesting subject that I could possibly study. After college I went straight to chemistry graduate school in Seattle because I wasn’t ready to choose a profession (and chemistry graduate students get paid to go to school: wow!). After I got my PhD I discovered that I loved teaching and decided to pursue a career in teaching. Six years later (as of spring 2018) I have taught chemistry at six different schools in three different states (Washington, Colorado, and Idaho), and I can definitely make this conclusion: I love teaching more every year.
I started at Boise State University in Fall 2016 and I am thrilled to be living in Boise and working with the wonderful people at Boise State.
When I am not working, I enjoy cooking and playing outside with my wife Emily and our daughter Luna.
