CAP Mentor/Supervisor Expectations

Thank you for hosting a Boise State student intern this semester. Your student intern is enrolled in an academic department that is participating in the Career Accelerator Program grant funded through the Idaho Workforce Development Council. The purpose of the grant is to provide a curriculum which, along with your direct supervision and mentorship, will support your student intern’s career readiness and confidence.

Thank you in advance for supporting our students and participating in this program through the following ways:

Attend a one-hour online orientation at the beginning of the semester (date TBD), or watch the recording that will be sent out via email.
Provide your student intern with an average of one hour of supervision/mentorship per week. We recognize this time may vary depending upon workload and projects. This support might also come from others in your organization.
Complete an end-of-the semester evaluation administered through SkillSurvey which will be sent to your email.
