I joined the Career Services staff in July 2019. Prior to coming to Boise State University, I have spent ten years offering experiential learning opportunities with students at UC Berkeley and Saint Mary’s College of California. In fact, I have devoted my career and education to providing students with transformational opportunities so that they may gain an appreciation of their education while critically examining pressing issues and connecting the dots between their education and career choices in ways that positively impact their local communities.Â
I am passionate about coaching students as they discover their passions and hopes. I was lucky enough to have many internships, mentors, and deeply invested educators in my life. Those experiences not only provided me with professional support but life support. In that sense, the value of our experiential learning programs cannot be overstated in the lives of students. I love learning, reading, and scheming about ways to bolster existing experiential programs while building new ones.Â
I am an Idahoan with a Bachelor of Arts in History from the College of Idaho, a Master’s of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate of Education from Saint Mary’s College of California. When I am not obsessing over experiential learning concepts and opportunities, I love to ride my mountain bike, hang out family, and hike with family and friends.Â
