CONNECT FAQ’s

  • WHAT is CONNECT? This is a networking exercise with some career exploration and advice sprinkled in.
  • WHEN is CONNECT this year? Monday, January 27, 2025.
  • WHERE is CONNECT being held this year? Albertson’s HQ.
  • WHAT TIME and what is the agenda? This information will be shared with registered guests.
  • PARKING? Parking is free and available at Albertson HQ.
  • DRESS? Business professional attire.
  • FOOD? We will have appetizer stations scattered about the main floor.
  • What is the format? Is it like a career fair?  Nope.  We begin in industry-specific breakout rooms with moderated panels.  We then come together for open networking.
  • Is there a fee to participate?  This is a free event for both professionals and student-athletes.
  • How many student-athletes attend CONNECT? Average attendance – 150 juniors and seniors, but all student-athletes are invited.
  • How many business professionals attend CONNECT? Average attendance – 130 professionals from 11 industries.
  • What is my role as a business professional at CONNECT?  Meet, mix, mingle, exchange stories of career discovery and getting started.
  • What is my role as a student-athlete at CONNECT? Share your story and any questions you have about a career you are interested in.
  • Do I have to have anything prepared ahead of time?  Its encouraged to have a 30 second “elevator pitch” about yourself.
  • What if others from my company want to attend? Please forward them the link to our registration form.
  • Can I bring swag to give away? Please bring business cards, but not swag.
  • Will there be a list of all attendees? Yes, more to come on when that will be available.
  • What if I need to cancel?  Please message our team at Broncolife@boisestate.edu.
