Kristen Mitchell has been elected to the board of directors for the Northwest Region of Sigma Xi, the scientific research honor society. Her three-year term as associate director is from July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2020. Board members help develop goals, maintain standards, test new ideas and explore new roles for the society.
