Call for Facility Voucher Applications in The CEBS COBRE Voucher Program

The COBRE in Convergent Engineering & Biomolecular Science (10-8-2023) encourages researchers to submit ongoing facility voucher applications for up to $5k. You can apply the funds to pay for Fabrication, Characterization, and Testing (FaCT) Core resources. The COBRE offers FaCT core use at a reduced cost, and its resources are available to all researchers across the university and region whether or not you use voucher funding.

Key Application Requirements

Projects must align to the CEBS COBRE theme and include a quote from the manager of the primary facility you intend to use (list below).

Fabrication, Characterization, and Testing (FaCT) Core Research Facilities

The FaCT Core provides the use of the Fabrication, Characterization, and Testing (FaCT) Core facility for research that is responsive to the CEBS COBRE theme of biomedical devices, sensors, and systems.

Your proposal will not be considered if it does not include a quote from a FaCT Core facility manger.

The FaCT Core consists of the following recharge centers housed within the College of Engineering (COEN):

*Note that the Surface Science Lab (SSL) is now part of the BSCMC.
