Using Typography

Typography plays a large role in ensuring publications and marketing campaign materials are distinct and engaging.

As a general rule, every design should include at least these three levels of hierarchy: headline, subheadline, and body text. How we organize the text, the headlines, the subheadlines, the columns, the paragraphs, the callouts, and others on the page or space signify their importance.

Our official university font is Gotham. If your computer does not have the font, the  Gotham I package can be purchased at an educational discount of $35. Please contact brand@boisestate.edu to submit your request.
